Our little princess is now 18 months old. Wow. I think she has the Aswegan tall genes because she is really starting to stretch out. She has a few new words (or at least attempts at them). She is also working on developing her temper.
We have some more news on our house hunting. We have now viewed 15 different different town homes in four different communities/neighborhoods. We have narrowed our search now to one specific neighborhood. At the end of last week we actually submitted an offer on one but it did not get accepted. There seem to be more than a few people shopping for the same thing we are in the same region, and multiple contracts are submitted within a few days on anything new that comes on the market. That just means that when we see one we like we will have to move quickly.
When Reagan really really wants something, she will vibrate with excitement – I mean actually vibrate. Last night at Target as we were walking through the toy section she spotted the large bin of balls and started vibrating. These balls were a bit larger than the ones you normally see (as you can tell in the picture above). She started carrying one, following us along as best she could, being that she couldn’t see where she was going. We couldn’t bring ourselves to take it away from her, so we had to give in. (The first of probably many times…..) The photo gallery contains a few more photos of her playing outside with her new toy.
Here are a few snaps from the Cherry Blossom Festival in D.C. this past weekend. Elise’s parents came out to visit us for Easter. Their visit was full of fun, but as always, much to short.
As many of you may know, we have begun looking for houses. We have seen a few that are pretty ok, but nothing that has “clicked.” We would love to get the Obama tax credit, but I’m not sure if it’s going to happen. The last thing we want to do is rush into anything. At the same time, our apartment lease is up at the end of August… So we don’t want to doddle either. Anyhoo, we will post more when we know more.
