What a change in events. The last three attempts (Oct-Dec) at getting monthly portraits have been a nightmare – Reagan was releshing in her newfound mobility and had no interest in sitting still. This morning, however was different. After breakfast, as I began setting up our background and tripod, Reagan ran into the living room, plopped down in the exact spot she needed to be, and started smiling at me. If only we had been ready! I was really worried that the window of opportunity was going to close, but our luck held. After changing out of PJ’s and getting the camera out, Reagan was still in the photo-taking mood and we clicked away. I think she had as much fun as we did, as you can tell from her priceless smile. The gallery above is the whittled down collection of the ‘keepers.’
This video was taken the first day home from the hospital with Reagan. It’s hard to believe now that she was ever that small. She started out at 5lb 1 oz (5th percentile) and 18 inches in length (unknown but low percentile). Now she is up to 20 lbs (20th percentile) and 31 inches tall (75th percentile) – tall and skinny for her age.

It has been over a month since the last posing to this website, and I am amazed at the outcry from the readership at this. I never realized just how many people visit this page. Thank you all for your interest, and I promise we will try to be more consistent with updates in the future.
Here we have two galleries. The first contains Reagan’s 14 month portraits (1 month overdue…) that were taken while we were home for the holidays. Also in this gallery are a few other random photos from our trip.
The second gallery contains a few photos taken while Reagan was opening Christmas presents, as well as lots of family photos, all taken while in Minnesota. Branden did not actually take any photos while in Iowa, so we will post Elise’s collection from our trip (both Minnesota and Iowa) in the near future. Also, before you know it, it will be time to take and post those 15 month portraits.
